I'm going to DisneyWorld!
So another FlashForward has come to an end. I'm running off to a little reunion dinner now, so just a quick tale from the very end:
I was talking with Lynda about how people were impressed with my technical talk, and she asked a friend to take a photo of us together. Then the friend asked me to take a photo of Lynda and her, and she handed me this strangely flat rubbery camera Turns out it was an iPhone in a durable case! Well, I figured out that much on my own, but then I couldn't figure out how to point and shoot the thing. I made the classic mistake of pointing the screen at them instead of the camera side and it took multiple tries for them to make me get it right. Man, for a Mac user and someone who used to photo-blog from his Treo, I felt like a real tech-n00b!
So I guess the iPhone doesn't "just work" for everyone, eh? Take THAT, Apple! (along with a big freakin' video table).
So I won four days at DisneyWorld in the FlashForward raffle. So now when people say "You've just finished speaking at FlashForward, what are you gonna do now?" I have an answer!
